Congratulations to Dr. Ania Banaszak, Researcher at the Institute of Marine Sciences and Limnology (UNAM), who was recently nominated and received the ICRS Fellow award! The status of ICRS Fellow is awarded to a proportion of International Coral Reef Society members who have provided significant service to the Society, and have demonstrated significant scientific achievement or provided substantive service to reef conservation or management. We are truly honored and grateful for all of her contributions to the conservation of coral reefs, and for her work as MAR-RRN Executive Committee member and Mexico representative. Her achievements now place her in this group of highly esteemed and well-respected coral reef scientists.
